I've been taking 120/life for 2 weeks. My blood pressure is at least 10 to 15 points systolically lower. I'd like to continue with this drink. The taste is good, I just mix it with water.

Pomegranate

Pomegranate is a natural ACE inhibitor, which assists in stopping blood vessels from constricting too much. It’s also a natural anti-sclerotic and anti-inflammatory, both of which help prevent scarring and stiffening of blood vessels. This is beneficial for normalizing blood pressure, and gives it cardioprotective effects.

Hibiscus

Hibiscus acts as a natural ACE inhibitor and a natural potassium-sparing diuretic. It also helps to keep LDL (“bad”) cholesterol under control, which doesn’t come at the expense of HDL (“good”) cholesterol. All of this contributes to it being cardioprotective.

Tart Cherry

Tart cherries are a rich source of vitamin C and phenolic compounds, which have an anti-inflammatory effect. They also work as an NADH oxidase inhibitor, which is one of the ways in which ACE inhibitors work. Additionally, studies on tart cherries for high blood pressure have shown decreases in the markers for diabetes, exercise-induced muscle soreness, and loss of strength.

Cranberry

Cranberries are high in phenolic compounds, which have an anti-inflammatory effect. One study showed a decrease in C-reactive protein (which is a marker for cardiovascular inflammation). They also appear to reduce blood levels of triglycerides. All of this has led researchers to conclude that cranberries have a cardioprotective effect.

Beetroot

Beetroot is extremely high in nitrates, which the body converts to nitrite and then nitric oxide (NO), which is a potent vasodilator. Additionally, studies have shown that the marker for cardiac inflammation, C-reactive protein, appears to be significantly decreased with the consumption of beets, making it cardioprotective. Our new and improved formula uses an all-natural beetroot concentrate that delivers even more nitrates to your body, with a smoother consistency and better taste.

Magnesium

Magnesium is a smooth muscle relaxer, a natural calcium channel blocker, and may increase nitric oxide (NO) production. Calcium channel blockers relax and widen blood vessels. Vascular smooth muscle impacts the volume of blood vessels and the local blood pressure by relaxing and/or contracting. Magnesium has also been shown to decrease sodium concentrations in red blood cells without changing potassium concentration.

  • Relaxes blood vessels

Hibiscus and Pomegranate are natural ACE inhibitors, and Beetroot contains lots of nitrates. Both are important ways of relaxing your blood vessels and reducing blood pressure.

  • Rich in antioxidants

Tart Cherry and Cranberry are natural antioxidants, which don't just help you keep your blood pressure under control—they also prevent damage to your body's cells and DNA.

  • Increases blood flow

Beetroot, Hibiscus, and Cranberry are all diuretics, which means that they reduce the amount of water in blood vessels so they can flow more easily.

  • Slows your heartbeat

Pomegranate and Magnesium are both natural beta blockers, which reduces the effects of adrenaline and lowers the pace and force of your heartbeat.
